Here in the Texas Hill Country, its been so dusty, dry, and HOT. Sure hope we get some rain soon!
The other morning we saw some beautiful clouds at dawn and were hoping they would at least give us a tiny rain shower. But they didn’t last long.
I was so inspired and happy just to see clouds that I grabbed my plein air painting gear and started this little painting.
Blank canvas and a fairly limited palette …
I really enjoyed watching the early morning shifting light along with the cooler temps.
By early afternoon it was 100 degrees. Whew its HOT!
