Professional Photographer Kathy Weigand, a native of Fredericksburg Texas, earns Master of Photography Degree

The prestigious PPA Master of Photography Degree was presented to Kathy Weigand on February 3, 2015 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville TN, by PPA President Susan Michal.

During the event, Weigand was sponsered by Mr. Dwayne Lee (M. Photog., Past-President of Texas PPA ), owner of Southern Flair Photography in Arlington Tx.  

Earning the Master of Photography Degree means that Weigand has met the standards of excellence set by the PPA.  She has been awarded this degree in recognition of her superior photographic competence through international photographic print competitions, advanced education, and service to the profession.

Earned only by an elite few, about 4% of PPA Members, the PPA Master of Photography Degree is recognized around the world.

The Professional Photographers of America (PPA), who’s roots originated around 1869,  is the world’s oldest, largest, and leading international nonprofit association created by photographers – for photographers.

Weigand is a portrait and commercial photographer based in Fredericksburg and Harper Texas.
