I’m so proud to announce that 3 out of 4 PPA print competition images earned PPA Print Merits!
And all 3 of these prints were again selected for the prestigious PPA Loan Collection award!! The Loan Collection Award is the highest individual print award that the PPA gives, and they will be published in PPA’s Loan Collection Book.
All 3 images will be on display next month in the Loan Collection Print Exhibit at Imaging USA in the Gaylord Opryland Resort, Nashville TN, Feb 1-3, 2015.
Heading to Nashville are:
– Bridger, Wild Stallion of Wyoming
– Giant Oak on Wildflower Hill
– Portrait of a Cardinal
Giant Oak on Wildflower Hill has also earned:
* Also Grand Prize award winner and First Place ‘Fields Category’ at Lady Bird Johnson’s Annual Wildflower Center’s Photo Contest. (over 1300 entries)”

Thank you to everyone who have encourged me to keep going… to keep entering the print competitions and working towards my goals! I greatly appreciate all of you, and I hope that this blog might inspire other photographers to also enter their own prints in PPA.
… Its not always about winning awards, but rather, its about “the journey” to challenge yourself!
