Fredericksburg Texas Art: Touring the First Friday Art Walk, Art Galleries, shopping in downtown Fbg Tx

I love art.
While photography has been my business, heart & soul for 13 years, I also LOVE oil paintings!  I am constantly studying paintings, old ‘Master’ style and new modern forms … maybe its the play of colors, technique, or the light.  Probably a combination of everything actually.

My daughter Ashley and I took some time off to visit our favorite galleries last Friday, which was part of Fredericksburg’s First Friday Art Walk!   Loved it!  We greatly enjoyed the art, the mingling, and the feeling of warm relaxation!  Its like chicken soup for my soul.

The first gallery we toured was the wonderful RS Hanna Gallery …  What a FINE establishment!  The quality is amazing, and atmosphere was so fun!  Thank you so much for you wonderful display, drinks, and great memories!

We took a couple quick snapshots with our handy iphones.

Next we went to Whistle Pik  …

Then we went to Fbg’s East side and walked Main Street…
I also found a couple new spots (off Main) that would be fun for photo locations … always the photographer!

We finished this night at Insight Art Gallery
